Benchmarking for Community Empowerment
Usec. Donato D. Marcos was a public servant for almost 19 years. After serving the government both local and national, nothing holds him back to continue serving the people, especially his hometown. His advocacy for community empowerment aligns with his belief in the importance of giving back and creating opportunities for all individuals to thrive.
After retiring from the government service, he continuously ventures in discovering opportunities for socio-economic development. He is conducting business research and study abroad to gain new perspectives, knowledge, and skills that can be applied to address local challenges and improve the well-being of communities. From his research and study, he wants to learn more about different approaches to community development, innovative solutions to common problems, and best practices that can be adapted and implemented in the community.
This cross-cultural learning and experiences could lead to increased collaboration, capacity-building, and empowerment within communities, ultimately contributing to the communities’ overall growth and development.
As per Usec. Donato Marcos, “We will identify different nucleus of growth area until it becomes massive.”
